Learn how to set up, publish, and optimize your HipDeck workspace.
A workspace is a container that groups your screens and playlists around a specific location, department, or client. Whether you're managing a single venue or dozens of sites, workspaces keep everything neatly separated so your team always knows where content belongs.
Workspaces are especially useful for teams managing multiple locations — each location gets its own workspace, so screens, playlists, and collaborators stay organized and never get mixed up.
Log in to HipDeck. If this is your first time logging in, you'll be directed to create your first workspace. This is your starting point for adding a new location, department, or client to your account.
Give your workspace a clear, descriptive name that reflects what it represents. Good examples include:
A meaningful name makes it easy to identify the right workspace at a glance, especially as your account grows.
If other team members need access to this workspace, you can invite them during setup or at any time afterward. Collaborators can manage screens and playlists within the workspace without affecting other workspaces on your account — keeping permissions clean and access well-defined.
Once your workspace is created, you're ready to add screens and start building playlists tailored to that location or team.
