Add Your First Screen

HipDeck makes it easy to connect your screens — no extra hardware required. Your first screen is completely free, and you can get up and running in just a few minutes.

Supported Connection Methods

HipDeck supports a variety of devices and platforms so you can display content on virtually any screen:

• Fire TV App — Install the HipDeck app directly from the Amazon Appstore on your Fire TV stick or Fire TV Edition television.
• TV Web Browser — Open the HipDeck player URL in any smart TV's built-in web browser.
• Chromecast — Cast your HipDeck content to any Chromecast-enabled display.
• Android App — Download the HipDeck app from the Google Play Store and run it on any Android device or Android TV.
• Web Browser — Use any modern web browser on a computer or tablet connected to a display.

How to Add Your First Screen

Follow these steps to pair your display device with your HipDeck account:

Step 1: Open HipDeck on Your Display Device

Launch the HipDeck app or navigate to the HipDeck player URL in your browser on the device you want to use as your screen. No account login is needed on the display device itself.

Step 2: Note the Pairing Code

Once HipDeck is open on your display device, a unique pairing code will appear on screen. Keep this code visible — you'll need it in the next step.

Step 3: Go to Screens in Your Dashboard

In the HipDeck dashboard, navigate to the Screens section and click the Add Screen button.

Step 4: Enter the Pairing Code

Type in the pairing code displayed on your screen. Once entered, HipDeck will instantly link your display device to your account.

Step 5: Name Your Screen

Give your screen a descriptive name (for example, "Lobby Display" or "Meeting Room 1") so you can easily identify it in your dashboard. That's it — your screen is now connected and ready to display content!
